From 2007 to 2011 Mr. De Leon worked for MIZUHO INTERNATIONAL PLC where he worked as a Managing Director in the Strategic Finance and Solutions team focused in Energy M&A opportunities in Europe and LatAm as well as in Structured Finances Solutions for asset based lending. Prior to joining Mizuho, Mr. De Leon worked for DEUTSCHE BANK AG where he held different positions. From 2006 to 2007, Mr. De Leon worked as Director for the Global Principal Finance Group in London heading the Special Credit Situations Group from where most of the renewable energy investment of the bank were executed, owning a portfolio of more than 3000 Mw of projects and being responsible and member of the board of directors of, among others, THANET OFFSHORE WIND LTD (now CENTRICA), PRENEAL INTERNACIONAL SL (now EOLIA RENOVABLES SA). Previously from January 2005 to May 2006, Mr. De Leon worked as a Vice President in London for the structuring and sales team for derivative products in fixed income, credit, and commodities for the Southern European Region. Mr. De Leon was responsible for developing the illiquid asset business in the Iberian Peninsula, Andorra, and Miami (LatAm). Previously Mr. De Leon has worked as an Associate in the Madrid office. Mr. De Leon started his career as an analyst in the M&A Telecom team in SCHRODER SALOMON SMITH BARNEY (CITIGROUP). Mr. De Leon graduated from ICADE in Business Administration. He lectures on Structured Finance at Instituto de Empresa and IEB Business Schools. Mr. De Leon is a member of the Board of Directors of AXON CAPITAL SGCR venture capital and a member of its Investment Committee.
