Ahmad joined Exotix in May 2008 as a Director within the fixed income sales and trading team in London covering the Middle East and North Africa region. Ahmad relocated to Dubai in August 2010 to establish the Exotix branch office, heading a team of 7 focused on special credit and equity situations across the region. Prior to joining Exotix, Ahmad worked for a family office in London as the director of risk management and securitisation where he was responsible for structuring term securitisation products to manage liquidity within targeted portfolio companies. Ahmad previously worked for MD Sass, a New York based investment management firm, as part of the firm's distressed and structured credit strategy. He began his career in Canada with RBC Direct Investing in Toronto. Ahmad graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Economics. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute.
