Jabal Salab Company (Yemen) Limited

Exotix was retained to arrange financing for a $120 million project financing for a zinc mine in Yemen. The financing structure included an innovative zinc price linked notes. This enabled the transaction to be placed with non bank financial institutions.

Ghana Telecom

Exotix acted as a Placement Agent for a $200 million bond for Ghana Telecom. This is a landmark transaction as it is the first US$ denominated corporate bond issued in sub-Sahara Africa. The notes were placed during the official privatisation exercise.

National Investment Bank Limited

Exotix placed two issues for NIB Ghana, a total capital raising of $90 million. The Bank issued promissory notes in respect of a trade agreement with an Asian company that exports commodities and hardware to Ghana.

City of Douala

Exotix placed a structured transaction for the City of Douala which enabled the City to monetise future tax receivables.

Ivory Coast

Exotix have placed a number of CFA Franc issues for the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire.

The New Forests Company

NFU engaged Exotix to raise private equity financing for the ongoing developments of forestry plantations in East Africa.
