Peter set up Exotix Limited in March 1999. Exotix is now a 55-person business registered and regulated in London, New York and Dubai and recognised as a market leader in the frontier markets. Peter is a global authority on the debt and secondary markets of Iraq, Cuba, North Korea, many African countries and a plethora of the less liquid debt markets. He has been quoted frequently in the Financial Times, the Economist and throughout the financial media. He has 19 years experience in Emerging Markets. From 1997 to 1999 he was Head of Emerging Market Sales and Illiquid Trading at Banque National de Paris. Prior to that from 1994 to 1997 he was Head of Eastern European Sales at Banque Indosuez and a trader for Africa and Eastern European Illiquids. He was instrumental in developing the Russian Minfin market and creating a liquid screen-traded bond market and in improving market practices. Before that he was Head of Eastern Europe/Africa Trading at Morgan Grenfell from 1992 to 1994 and before 1992 he worked at Continental Illinois and Lloyds Bank, always in Emerging Markets.
