From 2007 to 2011 Mr. Soyfer worked for MIZUHO INTERNATIONAL PLC as a Managing Director in the Strategic Finance and Solutions team. Mr. Soyfer was actively involved in transactions sourcing of financing for asset acquisition such as Specialized Vessel, Rigs, and Wind Farms to energy related contractors with long term contracts in developing countries (Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina and North Africa). From 2005 to 2007 Mr. Soyfer was the founding partner of INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL PARTNER (ICP), a structured finance boutique which originated and invested in illiquid assets in Latin America. In 2007 Mizuho bought out the IntelCap business. Prior to IntelCap, Mr. Soyfer worked from 2003 to 2005 for DEUTSCHE BANK AG (DB) in London as a Director in the Alternative Asset Group, the first Alternative Asset Group to be deployed by an investment bank within the capital markets. Prior to joining DB, Mr. Soyfer headed from 2001 to 2003 the European and East-European Credit Structured Group at MIZUHO INTERNATIONAL plc. in London. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Soyfer was Executive Director and European Head of Sales for fixed income products in GREENWICH NATWEST (which merged to ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND in 2000). Previously, in the period 1997-98, Mr. Soyfer headed the French distribution for NOMURA UK in London and from 1995 to 1997, Mr. Soyfer worked for CREDIT SUISSE FIRST BOSTON in London as a Director. He started his career in 1993 working in Paris as a Vice-President in SWISS BANK CORPORATION. Mr. Soyfer graduated in Economics for the University of Aix en Provence.
